Overview

When the UK’s number one razor brand Wilkinson Sword came to us and challenged us to come up with rewards for the promotional theme ‘Get Wet’, the answer was simple to us. Not that we like to generalise, but men can be notoriously difficult to engage, so offers needed to be free, exciting and err on the side of adventurous.

Our thinking was this: no better way to ‘Get Wet’ than water sports. Adventurous? Check. Exciting? Check. Free? Check. It ticked all the boxes.

After interrupting hundreds of surfers, canoeists and water sports folk coast to coast from what they do best, we recruited over 500 water sports centres to take part.

Activities ranged from kite boarding, surfing, canoeing and kayaking to scuba diving, swimming and power-boating on a free or 2 for 1 basis. What a way to make a splash!

Key brands included DW Fitness, LA Fitness and PADI Scuba Diving.
Taking part was simple – buy a promotional pack of Hydro razors and use the unique promotional code to download a voucher for a free or 2 for 1 lesson or session.
