Morrisons Sizzling Summer Savings

Aztec Marketing Solutions were retained by leading ISP Agency Billington Cartmell to create and manage a fully funded third party relationship marketing programme for Morrisons, the supermarket retailer, in order to launch their latest consumer initiative under their current promotional theme of "Sizzling Summer Savings!"

The promotion went live in-store on Monday 29th June for two weeks and was supported by a high profile TV campaign featuring the comedian Nick Hancock together with comprehensive POS material in-store, ensured a high level of public awareness throughout their 380 supermarkets nationwide and featured an exclusive selection of fully funded promotional offerings to Morrisons customer base.

The promotional partners were featured in a full colour booklet, which was distributed at the till when the customer spent a minimum of £25.00 in-store. Several million booklets were printed, featuring an exclusive range of offers.

Early results include record breaking levels of redemption particularly with Haven Holidays, who have stated: "This is an absolutely outstanding performance, the promotion is being received phenomenally well by Morrisons customers and we are all absolutely thrilled!"
