Husqvarna, the global leader in outdoor power products, wanted to run a competition that encouraged their customers to discover more about the Flymo range and also to make more use of the website, in particular the web shop.
A promotional CD ROM was inserted into approx 750,000 Flymo lawnmowers which featured their 'win a holiday to Italy' campaign. The customer was asked to answer a series of simple questions, the answers of which were available on the CD ROM and details could be submitted online or by post.
The lucky winner jetted off to Italy and spent a week with their family in a four star hotel on the beautiful Lake Garda. The package included return flights from London Gatwick, return transfers, 7 nights accommodation on a half board basis and travel insurance.
